Monday Morning Motivation – Again

Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day.
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Again
As we near the end of 2018, I cannot help myself but to think about and reflect on what I have and have not accomplished this past year. Each year I go through this same cycle and evaluate the good and bad. I then use this exercise to help me establish goals for the following year. I repeat this process again, and again, and again.
That is good. And that is bad. Doing things again and again is the basic definition of a habit. And habits can be good. Or they can be bad.
As I begin my reflection on this past year, I can see that I broke some of my worst habits and started some extremely positive new ones. I also can see that some unpleasant habits have lingered on, and so I am feeling the pain of regret yet again:
- “We must all live with one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.” – Jim Rohn
That brings us to this week’s question:
- What will you do again in 2019?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
Curt
