Monday Morning Motivation – Hiding
(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Hiding
A disclaimer up front – I shamelessly stole today’s word from Seth Godin’s blog post from Sunday 1/10/2016. However, I did take a bit of a different approach than he did…
Many of us are afraid to express our true feelings or what is in our heart. Afraid to speak openly about what we believe in. We hide because we worry what others will think or say about us.
What a shame.
Each and every one of us is just as valuable as any other one. And each of our thoughts, perspectives and feelings are equally valuable. There is never any reason to hide what we think or believe. Those that scorn or ridicule our thoughts, feelings or perspectives normally do so out of insecurity. And to hide our own thoughts, feelings or perspectives is to join them in a place of fear.
That’s no way to go through life.
My question to you this week is:
- What are you hiding from?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.

We make sure that they have the financial freedom to enjoy those things in life that are important to them. And while we believe the left-brain facts and data are critical; we work with our clients to get them in the right state of mind to focus on the goals they want to achieve.
