Book Summary - How To Retire Happy Wild and Free
A few years back a colleague recommended that I read Ernie Zelinski's How to Retire Happy Wild and Free. It was a GREAT recommendation as I've since re-read the book two additional times and recommended it to countless others. While the book is targeted at folks that are either about to or recently have retired, it's a great read for anyone.

A few years ago, a colleague recommended that I read How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free by Ernie Zelinski—and it turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. I've since reread the book twice and have recommended it to countless others.
Although the book is written primarily for those who are nearing or newly into retirement, it offers valuable insights for anyone, regardless of where they are in their career or life journey. Zelinski poses thought-provoking questions and practical frameworks to help readers prioritize how they spend their time in order to achieve maximum fulfillment.
The truth is, these questions aren't just important after retirement—they're just as critical before retirement. How we choose to spend our time, energy, and attention today shapes the life we're building for tomorrow.
Attached is a summary of my notes from the book.
Enjoy the read.
