Are you ready to replace "should" with "will" in your life

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement -- along with a good cup of coffee! -- to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Should

Should is a really interesting word.  Normally we use it when two conditions are present:

  • We know what the right thing to do is
  • We don't take the topic seriously enough to actually do it

Examples include:

  • I should start exercising
  • I should spend more time with my family
  • I should be more careful about what I say
  • I should save more
  • I should enjoy life more

It's REALLY unfortunate that should plays such a big role in our lives.  I'd offer that "will" is a MUCH better alternative than should.  Take the above examples:

  • I will start exercising
  • I will spend more time with my family
  • I will be more careful about what I say
  • I will save more
  • I will enjoy life more

Funny how this one little change makes such a big difference in things.

That brings me to this week's question:

  • Are you ready to replace "should" with "will" in your life?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.

Curt
